What I have learned

As I reflect on 2020 (a year full of surprises), it is a year I will not forget.
A lot of us want to forget it and move on to 2021 without acknowledging what he or she learned. This year I learned not to take life for granted and to love harder on the people in my life because I don’t know when they will be gone. I learned that God is not only in the church but in the hospital, in the hospital bed, in your car, in your house and in your mind. God is everywhere and no one can deny him. I learned not to compare myself to other people because we are all in different stages in life that are incomparable. I know who I am because God said who I am; fearful and wonderful.
I love the book of Jobs in the Bible. Job was a man after God’s own heart and he was a good person. He went through some dark times like being sick, losing his wife and even losing his kids. But God restored everything that he had lost and gave him back more than he expected.
I believe God will restore everything that we have lost just like he did for Job and give us back more than expected. 2020 has made us resilient and we can conquer 2021; what is stopping YOU from conquering your dreams?
I agree with the late Chadwick Boseman when he said, “struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose”.
You never miss when you speak on your blogs . I’ve learned from 2020 that you have to go through some mud to enjoy some sunshine. God is in control and we have to continue to have faith in him even with all the madness that has happened. Keep goin with your blogs I enjoy them 💯💯💯💯
